I see it has been awhile since you have posted. <br /><br />We are a Christian birding family and I started a blog strictly to find other birders. I've met a few. We live in central Iowa and heard our state has a lot of birders. <br /><br />Our big guides are Stokes, Sibley's, and Crossley's. We also have a couple state ones, plus a 1947 edition of Peterson's. We'll drive a couple hours for a life bird and finally!! got the Snowy Owl earlier this month. Being further north did you have an easy time seeing them? Iowa's confirmed sightings are at 133 right now for this winter. It's starting to warm up, so I can probably stop hoping it will become a yard bird. We live out in the boonies on a small acreage. <br /><br />I think I will remain silent on the flycatcher issue... :)<br /><br />God bless you and happy birding!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
